Raul Ally is due to be deported to Tanzania on Wednesday 17th April at 8pm.
Raul went to sign at North Shields reporting centre at 11:45 as he has done every week since November. This time however, he was detained by the UK Border Agency and taken to a cell in North Shields Police Station. He was locked up until 1am, when he was transported back to Morton Hall, arriving at 4am.
We are working on negotiating bail, with the ultimate aim of Raul being granted indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom. As soon as I know more about the situation, I will post advice to help people who care about Raul’s situation to be able to provide positive, tangible help.
